Just picked up a hundred round box of this ammo for the amazing price of $27.

Apparently the bullet used is Remington's first generation JHP design, which isn't too shabby.

I haven't shot any of them yet, but I wondered if anyone had tested this load and what kind of results you obtained.

Thanks

I got a box to try through my JHP-shy Sistema. It was 100% reliable and accurate. I got another box to keep on hand. Although not a carry piece, I like to have the proper equipment available.
I think you'll like that ammo.

They fed okay.

The muzzleflash seemed a bit excessive compared to Rangers and Gold Dots, so it'd not be my preferred carry especially at night, but I have some stored as SHTF ammo, 'cause they're cheap.

After some range experimentation with several brands of heavy weight JHPs, This Remington load is completely reliable in my XD45 so it's now my carry load. There will be more testing -- sort of , scientific fun.
Remington rates this load at 835 fps and 356 ft-lbs of energy -- not super, but you wouldn't want try to catch one.

That's very useful for me to know since I also plan on using it in an XD45 (4 inch).
