Can't think of the name, or a manufacturer, but those .45 carbine conversions...?

Guys, sorry... I'm having a brain fart at the moment. Do any of you have any experience with those goofy looking things that attach to your .45 receiver to make a semi-auto rifle out of them? The ads say no FFL required; I'm sure you've seen them. Are these things worth a hoot at all, or just a waste of good cash?
Mikey D...

I have one, though I've only brought it out two or three times. It's a fun range toy, but not suitable for serious business. Mine has jammed pretty freqently, though most people say they're quite reliable. I would say put the money towards a real rifle instead.

I know of a couple of people who have them and are satisfied with them. They are basically used for plinking.
