It was probably the BPM-D, for Browning Pistol Mode - Decocker.
Ant it looked much like Browning BDM (http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg109-e.htm) but less that mode switch on the left side of the slide.
Actually, BPM and BRM were two "single-mode" versions of Double-mode BDM.
