i've heard rumblings of a 75gr hpbt 5.56 load that wolf is supposed to be marketing soon but i haven't yet heard anything definitive. last i heard, the new offering wasn't intended to be as accurate as the black hills mk 262 but it was supposed to be similar in velocity, bullet construction and terminal ballistics. i have seen some other procucts in the "gold" line on sale, however.

I don't think it's out yet. Seems to me like a good alternative to the real deal, for training/practice.

Every now and then I see the thread on arfcom, but no ETA. I pretty much stopped checking it.

I see them advertised in Cabelas, does anyone know if they have them in yet? I thought that once I got my Mosin Nagant, after buying some surplus, I'd get a few of those Soft Point rounds for it for when I take it hunting this fall.

I believe the Wolf Gold Line has been out for a while in various calibers. However they are supposed to be coming out with a 77 grain 5.56 round.
