Looking for a Left handed Bolt action that breaks down into 2 peices

I was watching The People vs Larry Flint and it gets to the part where the sniper is assembeling his rifle it was in 2 peices and with one twist and tightening a screw underneath it was ready to go, also he just snapped his scope on to pre mounted site bases which was similiar to A long Kiss Goodnight where she did the same thing.
I dont want a sniper rifle with a pistol grip and etc I want a standard hunting rifle that I could use as a back up gun on hunting trips with out taking up so much space and from what I can tell it looks like the gun could fit in a pack when broken down. And with very little ease to assemble and use without sighting in.
Right now I just lug 2 rifles up to the blind or when were walking around, I havent seen any rifle like this on any sites other than the 3,000 dollar blazer tactical sniper rifle. Which I dont need a 3,000 dollar gun to shoot a deer, Im looking for it to be around a $700 dollar price range.

You've been watching too many movies. A rifle that will take down and then reassemble and still shoot to the original zero is a precision piece of equipment not to be had cheaply.
Your best chance will be with a single shot like a Thompson Center Contender or Encore in rifle configuration. They can do it because the sights/scope are on the barrel and are not disturbed by taking the gun in half like with a takedown bolt action as seen in BS movies. Best not to take the scope off the barrel, though.
Or maybe a H&R, some people say those are pretty good little rifles for the money.

Sounds like you need an Alaskan Co-Pilot, "THE MOST FAMOUS TAKE DOWN LEVER ACTION IN THE WORLD", according to their website, www.wildwestguns.com.
Of course, it'll run you a couple of thousand dollars, but what the heck. You'll be the first kid on the block to have one.

You are looking at a pricy proposition, Either an old Lever gun in an original takedown pattern, a new modified lever gun to be take down or a modern bolt that will cost you.

HS Precision (http://www.hsprecision.com/new_take_down.htm)
See my link here (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=204249) of my review of a non-takedown rifle of theirs.

What kind of groups will the HS consistantly hold?

They guarantee 1/2 moa accuracy and 1moa repeatability. There also $3600.00. Also there only RH.
The TC encore sounds like a very good option.

Why not look for a T/C encore? They come apart, and are rather cheap.

Minator;
Just up the road from HS is an outfit called Dakota. At one time they offered just what you're asking about, a switch barrel travel gun I believe. The idea was one action and several barrels. But it did take down.
Another couple of plus's is that Dakota uses a Mauser type action, and they'll build it in left for you. Now then, it ain't a-gonna come cheap, you do realize that, don't you?

A winchester 405 is a lever action that takes down. You didn't mention caliber and if it strikes you as cool, they are literally thousands less than the bolties!
