Well it came in yesterday! I ordered it from Henry a couple weeks ago and when I got to the range this morning it was there!

I figured I've bought everything else with the Snap On logo on it why not get this as well! Only $375+ tax

It shoots great, I've never had any lever action 22's before, I really like it. When I got home and showed my wife she fell in love with it. She really liked the "old west" look.

Did you ask Henry if they'd drop $200 off the price if they took the Snap-on logo off?

That's no joke. Snap-On is the HK of tools; good product, but way overpriced. I much prefer Mac and Matco (more like S&W and Springfield).
Not that I'd buy a firearm with either logo.

And yes, I do own a few Snap-on products. OTC scanners simply don't work as well, and I do like my MM250 mig (not actually built by Snap-On).

Nice rifle, but is it just the picture, or are my eyes playing tricks? The receiver doesn't look very "golden" to me, and the barrel band sure looks black, not brass. Is this a Golden Boy (which has a polished brass-colored receiver), or just the black painted model 001?
