I am looking to replace my well beaten stock on my Remington model 721 with a cammo synthetic in the real tree pattern. All I seem to be able to find are for the model 700. I am curious if using the 700 replacement is possible? If so does any one know how much modification would be necessary. I would like to referb the gun as a gift for my sons birthday. any info would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of places will dip your gun and put the pattern right on it. Immersion Transfer, or something like that. Thin film of pattern floats on top of water tank, item is pressed into the water, and the film sticks to the surfaces.
