For those of you who carry your PM9 in a Smartcarry. What size Smartcarry did you get?

I ordered one for my PM9 and I received the small size, which seems too big.

Doesn't look like you are getting much response, I too would like an answer to this question. I have an MK40 which is roughly the same size as the PM9. I was thinking about Smartcarry as well. If the small seems too big, maybe the extra small will work. However, when they talk about the extra small they mention the Kel Tec p32 and other mouse guns.

The extra small is also recommended for the Colt Pony and Mustang, both of which are similar in size with the PM9, MK9 and MK40. The small fits my K40 perfectly BTW.

I only ask because Charlie at Smartcarry was surprisingly unhelpful, I've only heard good things about him. He told me the Kahr P9 and PM9 were the same size and therefore both use the small holster, I could not convince him otherwise.

If you want it tighter, just slap it on the sewing machine and run another tack down the middle.

I always thought Smartcarry was primarily designed to keep the pistol from falling down your pantleg. Aside from that, your jeans, slacks or belt hold the gun in place.

The instructions talk about either using a safety pin or some stuffing to delimit the pocket size better. I bought a size for G-19 (cause I intend to buy one), but use it for my G-26 (same body profile) with a cloth stuffed in the bottom to keep the pocket from swallowing the G-26.

You must have caught Charlie on a bad day. He was very accomodating and helpful to me at a gun show.

Are you going to get the extra small? I guess you could sew up the pocket or put in the safety pins but that seems like a hassle you shouldn't have to go through. Let me know what you decide to do even if by PM. These holsters look good to me but if they can't get the size right, I don't know. Thanks.

I'm undecided what to do. The holster does works with my K40 and Smith & Wesson J-frame.

I have 60 days to try out the holster and make my decision.
