I'm happy!

Talk about FAST turn-around!
I got home from work and FedEx left my 686 on the side porch. :scrutiny:
On the one hand I'm happy to get it back....on the other I would have thought that against the law or something!
Anyway, I haven't shot it yet but I did some comparitive dry-firing between it and my older 686 4 inch and the pull is about the same weight and just as smooth!
So I DID get a free trigger job in effect!
Here is what the note packed with the gun said:
The work was performed at Smith & Wesson. The following characteristics have been examined and adjusted to our standards:
Customer Complaint: B & C Open
Reparied: turn barrel
Repaired: cut forcing cone
Customer Complaint: Rough Double Action
Repaired: Repair Cyl.
:scrutiny:
Well, whatever they did the pull is nice and the B & C is now LESS than .006 (that was the smallest feeler guage I have on hand and it would NOT fit).
Odd they didn't mention my cylinder binding problem.
Oh well. I guess I'll have to check for that when I shoot it.
:)
