So, a long time ago when I was looking around on-line for handgun safes, I found a website that sold storage racks for shotguns. They looked kind of like what you see in police cars, and allowed you to vertically mount a shotgun right to the wall. It caught my interest, but wasn't really what I was looking so I moved on, and put it out of my mind.

Of course, now that I am wanting to find out about buying one, I can't find it anywhere on the internet. :o

Does anyone out there know what I am talking about, and maybe where I could pick one up. It looked like a nice fairly quick to access way of storing a H/D Shotgun.

You might be talking about the wall shotgun device Mossberg is selling. This looks similar to the type of lock racks used in police cars.
It's a box-like device that mounts to a wall, and encloses the shotgun action. There is a separate muzzle securing plug that prevents using the gun as a lever to tear the unit off the wall.

I last saw it in Mossy's catalog, and I think it's in their web site.

Alternately, you could just buy one of the locks that they use in police cruisers. It allows you to store the gun cruiser-ready.
