HOLY GAMO!

I've been having (what I consider) a problem with rabbits in my yard lately. I mean, they're all over the place. Anyway, someone recommended the Gamo 1000 air rifle and hunting pellets. Well, last night, came home with the rifle (it comes with a cool laser scope and flash light). Anyway, there's this pesky bird that's always flying through my yard and resting on my hammock. I decided to take the G 1000 for a test. First shot, that sob flew to the ground. It was actually disgusting to look at cause it looked like it exploded. Air rifles have changes from when I was a kid and I'm only 32.

He didn't ship on your hammock did he?
If so I'd say that's probable cause.

I posted on your rabbit thread and suggested that the Gamo I have works wonders. It's a very powerful air rifle and it makes a mess with a head shot.
It works, though it may be messy. That's why they are adult air rifles.

Yeah Karbon now I remember you. Tonight, I'm going to the range to fully test it. I have a few dozen empty soda cans. I'm really amazed at how loud it is plus if you look closely, it actually smokes after each shot. My only complaint is--it's a single shot.
Thank god, I didn't get any bird goo all over my new hammock. lol

It is a bit too loud. It is a ton of fun to play with. I was hitting a 4" target at around 40 yards. Amazing. I'm sure you will enjoy the purchase. They ahave a nice adjustable trigger for an air rifle don't they?

Pellets guns are awesome. I have had a RWS Dianna for 15 years that shoots excellent and has caused me know problems. I have shot so many squirrels, rabbits, and pests with mine that I have lost count. My 12 kid has a Gamo and it shoots excellent.

I too had recommended the Gamo. I got a 440 hunter and I have broken the neck on rabbits at close to 40 yards. I love that thing.
