The new NRA Firearms Sourcebook (http://www.nrastore.com/nra/Product.aspx?productid=PB%2001548) looks like a great reference. Anyone have one or flipped through it? Is it worth the $35? Thanks much.

Hi,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I received my copy last week and it is an excellent reference. It contains chapters on manufacturing, materials, triggers, ammunition, ballistics to name just a few. There is also a section complete with all sorts of firearms related formulae.
As far as the price, it is somewhat steep in my opinion. I think I would feel a little better about the price of this book if it were at least a hardcover.
Hope this helps.
Mike

Welcome, Dr. Slots! I lived in Indiana for quite awhile. Southern Indiana's particularly pretty.
Thanks for weighing in on the book. I've been wanting a good reference and thought this looked pretty comprehensive. I think I'll give it a shot.
