What are the best holsters for a S&W Hammerless J-frame carry...
1 -- Pocket carry
2 -- IWB carry
If possible, please give an online link to purchase the holster.
Thanks!
:) :D :p

For J-frame pocket carry, can't beat the Desantis Nemesis, IMHO. Easy on the wallet, too!

i used to work nites at a convenience store and i have a 442. i carried it either in my pocket loose or in Galco SOB.. the cool thing is the loops go around the belt and it can moved to the front without too much uncomfort. luckily never drew in anger and i'd move it to the front pocket of my jacket if i went to ATM at nite and keep the hand on it and work the ATM buttons with weak hand.. never had any problems thankfully

My favorite J-frame pocket holser is the Pocket Pro with OTMG mods. Lou made a skeletonized holster out of stiff leather leaving the cylinder area, the thickest part of the gun, open. He then wraps the holster in a thin, soft, suede leather for protection and grip. The OTMG mods include a round contour to match the curve of a front pocket (who carries in a square back pocket?) and an elevated 'catch hook' on the front of the holster to help keep it in the pocket.

Two favorites for my J-frame IWB carry. #1 is the Don Hume PCCH. Well made leather with belt loops for securing. Leather is form fitted to the profile.
#2 is a Uncle Mike's IWB, inexpensive and works well, clip on. The Uncle Mike's is a synthetic blend. Exterior surface approaches the texture of suede so the holster stays in you pants when drawn. It also appears sweat proof during the summer. Cost is $10 to $15.

Greeting's All,
First off, I don't like to carry any Smith & Wesson
J-frame in my front pant's pocket! The
ideal carry MO for me at least, is in a Bianchi
IWB holster. At a cost of only $6.00; it's the
best IWB that I have ever seen for the money!:uhoh:
Best Wishes,

And greetings to you also Mr/Mrs Ala Dan.
May I ask why you do not like to carry a S&W
J-Frame in your front pant's pocket?

The Pocket Pro and the RCMP X-draw are both holsters made by Alessi, but are not standard cataloged items so are available by special order only. I would guess that he has not done more than 20 Pocket Pro holsters. I do not know of any links to photos of either holster.

Uncle Mikes Sidekick pocket holster for me. $10 and ambidextrous. Works well and mine has seen two years of service before this photo was taken. :)

Another vote for RJ Hedley's back pocket holster.
Here is mine after a year of HARD everyday carry. I say HARD, because I'm a carpet cleaner and I SWEAT! When I take the gun out of my pocket it's always soaking wet. I think the holster may out live my gun!
