I have one (S9), but can't shoot it well. It has nice ergonomics, though. I supose that with practice I could shoot it well. The trigger (upgraded version, standard on all S9s) doesn't suit me well, which is the part that needs practice on my end. The reset is not pronounced enough for my tastes. I am glad that I have one, though. I have a total of eight factory mags, and it also has PT night sights, which give me a standard bar-noth sight picture.

How much did the mags cost you?

About $20 a pop.

I have one but have not gotten around to shooting it. Too many guns and too little range time. :) :(

My buddy has one which he loves greatly. It's his primary carry gun. I tried it and it has two issues for me. First, the trigger is really mushy (to my taste...I'm a 1911 type of guy). Second, it has really strange inverted triangle sights, which, once I got used to them, worked OK, but they sure look weird the first time you use them.

Another problem is finding spare parts! My buddy lost one of his original mags and we had to look all over the world to find someone who had Steyr S9 mags for sale. The guy was in Canada, and is a great guy, but the mags cost $40 (approx) each, and are 10 rounders. I'm told that Browning HP mags will work with some little modifications, but my buddy didn't want to experiment with doing that to his BHP mags because he was sure (and I think he's right) that he'd mess it up at least once.
