Just got through reading about the Venezuelan purchase of the "new" AK-103 assault rifle.

Although it looks like an AK-74 with plastic furniture chambered for the old 7.62x39 round, I'd still be interested in owning a semi-auto only version.

Does anyone know if these rifles are available for sale in the US, and if so, at what price.

Thanks

There is no true AK-103 in the US. There are only two types of AKs importable from Russia, the Saiga and the Vepr, both of which are configured into a "sporting" form. The closest you will come will be a custom build on a Saiga.

The Bulgarians/Arsenal come with similar furniture and the muzzle brake is an
easy add-on.
