This is my GP WASR. I found that lone magazine in a gun shop, lost in a pile of standard metal AK mags. I know that Krebs Customs supplies them with their own AK's, but are they sold exclusively from Krebs or is there somewhere I can order them online? This magazine is by far the most durable one I've encountered and I plan to get a bunch more of them, but there is no name or brand anywhere on it so I can't search online for them. Thanks for any help.

It looks to me like one of the Polish mags as sold by AIM Surplus a year or so ago. Or it could be a Russian AK-103 mag. The Polish mags have 7.62 in raised lettering on the side near the bottom and Russian mags usually have a silver ink stamp at the bottom of the rear side.

Tantal has both but they are not inexpensive. If I recall correctly the Polish mags are about $40 and the Russians are about $100. Check out:

Hope this helps.

The only AK mags I own are the Polish polymer ones. They are excellent mags.

It's definately not a Bulgarian Waffle. Those have a crosshatch pattern like this (http://home.mchsi.com/~davidkoch/myarms/ARFnSAR.jpg).

I agree that it looks like the Polish mags AIM was selling.

Keep an eye out on the "AK stuff for sale" forums of gunsnet.net and AR15.com:

Nice looking AK BTW! :)

More durable than a steel mag? That is saying something with AK's.
