I just handled the cheaper($989!) of their two competition oriented models. I was pleased with the overall appearance and finish. It had an 'almost' Benelli-like appearance to it, and the bolt seemed to retract smoothly. I also liked the fact it had replaceable chokes.

Whaddy know?:)

This and the near clone Browning Gold have been getting lots of use in the SC world. Input is positive.

I recently purchased the Super X2 Practical. I haven't been able to find much information on it online, but my experience so far has been very positive. It has cycled flawlessly all sorts of different shells. Recoil is reduced by the gas system. It is quick to break down and easy to clean. It balances well in my hands and is a natural pointer. I also admire the way it looks.

Dizos,

The Practical is on my list as is FN's shorter barrel version. Which sights did you get? How much did it run you, if you don't me asking?

I got the Mk I which doesn't have the ghost sites (I don't care for ghost sites). It cost me $735 from Wholesale Hunter. This was about $100 less than what I usually see them for on Gunbroker and Auction Arms. I prefer the 22" barrel and the ability to use Invector chokes over the FN police model. It is rather heavy though.

I have a SuperX2 3.5" that I have shot the bejeebers out of, it is one outstanding shotgun. You can't ask for better reliability, and it hits what I shoot at. I am hopelessly in love with mine.......

I don't have one yet, but I have read and searched every forum on the x2. I have yet to find any negative comments. Everyone that has one seems to love it. So a X2 Sporting 28" looks to be like my Fathers Day score. :D
