Did anyone see the new box of the WWB 45? The walmart I go to, has been out for quite some time though they stock remington 250 mega pack.
The new box of wwb is smaller as it doesn't have the foam container.
Looks like they just line them up and stack them. It was $19.97, now it was $20.97.

Yup, seen it. I burned up two of 'em trying to induce a failure in my 1911. Happily, I was unsuccessful in my attempt :) All those cartridges look pretty neat all lined up like that.

They had used styrofoam before. I think this is less packing material, all recyclable cardboard too.
Now if they would make it 200-250 rounds value pack ;)

I've put 3 boxes of them through my 6 week old G 30 and I'll be going to Walmart today for another one.

Yes I have seen them. I have about 13 of them in the safe right now. I have benn using this style for about 2 years now. I have not seen the other style in a long time. It all seems to shoot the same.

Last ones I bought from Walmart (around Memphis, TN) a year ago were packaged like that. The 50-round boxes come with the styrofoam but the 100-rounders I've seen have been packed that way.

This is the caliber, .45acp, I find most cost effective to reload for!

All my 45s do well with WWB.

One word of caution with the new packaging. Check the top layer of rounds for excess glue use to seal the box. Sometimes excess glue drips onto the rounds and hardens.

I have had to scape off a glob of dried glue on at least one round out of about 50% of the boxes I opened. It is not a big deal but if not checked it could stop the rounds from chambering.

ETA: For the price of WWB ammo, I can live with a "glob" of dried glue here and there.

The price of oil and copper go up...so does ammo.

I like WWB in both 9mm and 45 acp
