For a Bullseye shooter, reloading on a single stage press, that is a waste of a lot of good ammo...looks cool though!

That's sort of a trademark for John Woo, the director. In a lot of his movies, everyone ignores real gun capacities EXCEPT for the really cool badguy. Watch him carefully during the chop shop gunbattle and the hospital running duel.

I have some photos somewhere of WW II device for the 1911 that holds about 50 rounds. Looks very heavy and cumbersome.

Movies have nothing to do with reality. Neither do actors.

For pure grin-value, I don't think there's a single action movie ever made that could approach the style of A Better Tomorrow and A Better Tomorrow 2.
