1911 Mod information

Hey guys I have a Norinco 1911 clone that I have had for about 10 years now. Only modifications I have done to it are adding a Wilson Group-Gripper (Full Length guide rod) and an extended slide release. I am thinking about modifying it some more for no other reason than to "play" with it.
What sources do you suggest for information on how to change hammers, sears, extractors, etc? I'm looking for book listings or videos or websites. Something either showing complete disassembly or specific modifications.
Thanks!

I imagine there is more than one online page dedicated to complete take down and parts swap. Perhaps someone will post a link.
The Kuhnhaussen line of shop manuals are also available. These excellent books should quickly convince you that you have little business doing anything that isn't "drop-in". Most operations are precise, complex and leave you much rope to hang yourself with.

That's one of the reasons that I would like to get a hold of this info. I don't want to get to a point where I'm looking at a pile of parts going :what:

Thanks for the URLs-I have to look them up at home since work has a filter on certain websites (most all gun related-not this one yet )
