The History Channel just finished showing the story of the ATF and a good part of it was the story of how the Branch Davidians were using machine guns and assault weapons against the ATF and then somehow the place caught fire and they all burned up.

If anyone wants to see this drivel again it will be on the History Channel again at 3 PM Pacific Daylight Savings Time.

The program referred to the ATF as Law Enforcement but in my personal experience in having spent a bit of time in training with and by ATF when I was with the government, they were LEO wannabees. If a person were to take the program as shown you would come away with the sense that they were the good guys and were protecting society from all sorts of evil.

:cuss:

I guess that is why the ATF cooperated with the making of the program.

Wasn't that episode supposed to be titled "History of the Jack-booted Thugs"?
