I have a couple of boxes of depleted CR123 batteries laying around. They will no longer run my Surefire G2, but still have power in them. I can't bring myself to throw them away. Anyone have any suggestions of what to do with them?

Inova X5 or HDS EDC. Either will suck a battery bone dry.

The Inova T-5 takes two batteries, when you run a light with two batteries with different ammounts of juice left, you risk an explosion.

Use them only on one battery LED's lights.

Black bear is correct, I actually meant the X5 red, which is a single battery light AFAIK. The EDC suggestion still stands.

I saw an ad for Pelikan M-1 LED light. Would that be a good choice for sucking the last bit of energy out of old CR123 batteries?

you should be able to find a recycle point. i believe they are considered hazardous waste

I know I can always toss them (in an approved waste handling manner), but the point is, there is still energy in these batteries that I want to utilize. They do not have enough juice to run my Surefire incandescent bulb, but I thought they would be able to power an LED bulb until they were completely dead.

You can still get quite a bit of usable light out of them in a digital controlled LED. I switch the dead ones from my G2 or Aviator into my L2 Outdoorsman.
