I've seen the information you posted from the website. Have not seen any reviews yet. At this point it looks like a pricey plinker. But I would be really interested in actual accuracy reports.

I just glanced at a review of one in Guns mag tonight. It looks good, but that price is WOW....

Wow, I felt self conscious about the price of my current proejct gun until I saw that.

As an aside, I always wondered why the CZ527 5.56 and 7.62x39 rifles dont take AR and AK mags. That would have ruled.

What did Guns have to say about it?

I like it except for the weight. That's as heavy as a Springfield M1A National Match.

The article I read on it showed the accuracy to be 1/2" at 100yds. The trigger was described as slightly creepy but manageable. The fit and finish was very nice and their were no reported failures of any kind. The action is some kind of delayed roller lock if I recall correctly. Although the article was positive (frankly I hardly ever see a negative word in most articles) I came away thinking that this rifle is very nice however it is expensive enough that few will be able to afford one.

They found a way to make a .223 heavier than a Garand, as pricy as 2 decent AR's, and, well, ugly enough to scare a hungry bulldog out of a meat truck.
It's gonna be interesting to see what it's place in the world is.

(edit) I believe the one being tested in the magazines has a huge barrel nut type thingy ahead of the receiver. Tones down the big step between receiver and barrel, but adds a bit of visual mass this rifle already had plenty of.

yeah? i was thinking it sounds like a heckuva varmint gun. volquartsen certainly has a reputation superb accuracy. does seem a little pricy though

These people have a reputation for making guns that shoot itty bitty holes.

would expect that a 1/2 group is considered an aberation.

i know it says gas operated, but it is also short stroke piston like an m1 carbine.
