Price Check: High Standard Riot gun

I just saw a used High Standard "Riot Gun," with an 18" barrel, about 85-90% condition, serial #3238XXX, for an asking price of $199.95. I'd bet I could haggle that price down another 10-25 bucks. Mostly, I'm just looking for a home defence & fun shotgun & the big honking "Riot" fits me fairly well. I like the 8-round tube, too. Is the this gun worth the asking price? How durable are these weapons?

It's an orphan(parts not available from maker), and some of the HS shotguns were not as well made as their wonderful target 22s.

I'd skip this one and get a used 870 for about the same money.

Maybe at the gun show this weekend?

Didn't I just see some SW3000s from Kiesler's (Jeffersonville, Indiana) at that price. Close enough???
