Could you suggest some good, reliable .22 pistols that can hold 10+ rounds in the mag?

Thanks...

The Ruger automatic holds 10 rounds.

I have a Ciener Conversion Kit on one of my M1911s -- this was an early version, before the "Assault Weapon" ban, and it has a 15-round magazine.

There are many .22 pistols which meet your requirements. I'll personally suggest the Ruger or the Browning buckmark. Both are excellent guns, and around the same price. Pick up a few extra magazines and have some fun!

I've had nothing but good results with my wife's Walther P-22. The factory mags hold ten rounds and there are followers that add another three available on the aftermarket. The pistol is smaller than many of the others above, and while it isn't a target pistol it is definately a plinker and handy enough you could pocket carry it. They like high velocity ammo, CCI Stingers and Velocitors have never let me down.

I was unaware there was such a thing as a reliable .22 autoloader, one reliable enough to bet your life on, that is. I'm not referring to the small caliber, but the questionable reliability of ANY rimfire autoloader.

I've got a P22 I put about 1000 rounds a month through. While the caliber is clearly inadequate, it goes bang every time and cycles every time, no failures at all of any kind. It's just as reliable as my 1911's or Hipowers, well, 1911's anyway.

Mine's a fine little gun, took a while to get used to shooting it because it's so darned small in my hand, but once I got used to it it's quite accurate. Made a great training gun for my daughters when they were younger.

With decent ammo like CCI Minimags all of my .22's are 100% reliable. They include three Ruger MK II's, a Benelli MP95E, a CZ Kadet Kit and a Beretta 21A Bobcat which I carry as a bug.

The Ruger mark I is a very reliable .22 auto pistol as are the later models. Use Ruger factory mags and you'll be very satisfied. I shot mine to see how long it would take to stop it up from dirt and had to clean it because my hands were getting dirty from hadling the pistol but the pistol kept on shooting. The only malfunctions I had with the Mark I were due to bad ammo (Remington duds 25 out of a box of 525).

Get a Ruger auto pistol and you won't be sorry. If I had to do it again I would get the .22/.45 which has a side magazine release instead of the bottom release.
