Put my first 100 rounds of CCI Blazer Brass FMJ down the pipe today. There were no FTAnythings. This is my first .380, and I was a bit surprised how "snappy" it was relative to my 9 mm's. I just expected something less. (New appreciation for the caliber!) Accuracy was generally very good at 15' and 21', maybe a little bias to the left. I think the windage could use a tweak, but I don't know which way to turn the screw on the adjustable rear sight to move the groupings a little to the right. I have the nickel version with the red sights, and I have to say in the ambient light at this indoor range, the sight dots were a little hard to pick up. Maybe a different color for the front sight would help. Overall impressions of this pistol were very positive. I'm not as accurate with it as I am with my SA .45 ACP loaded target model, but certainly acceptable for "close in" work. I now have to exercise it with some Federal Hydra Shock for HP feed and reliability. I think this nice-handling product from Bersa in a great value as well!

That's a good little blaster you have there.
Congratulations!

Don't mess with the windage just yet, the leftward tendency is
typically caused by unfamilar trigger-fingering. :)

Congrats, I really like mine also. If you think that;s snappy try one of the pocket 9mm's everyone raves about.

Best $190 I have ever spent. My Bersa is my favorite "workonthelandanddon'tevenknowifit'sthere" gun. :p

I explored that when I bought my CZ RAMI in 9. The Kahr PM9 was chosen over the RAMI in Gun Reviews. The RAMI is bulky compared to the others, but a little bit less snappy than the T380, not that the Bersa is uncomfortable. I like the RAMI's feel and 1911-like features, i.e. cocked and locked. I also have a 1911 from SA, the loaded target in .45. I bought the RAMI before the 1911, but now after shooting the .45, the RAMI seems more natural, though DA/SA.

However, for me, I am much more accurate with the T380 than the RAMI, and most accurate with the 1911, of all my centerfire handguns. (Though my GP100 revolver is right up there.)

Lastly, the price differential to the Kahr and PPK were a no brainer when it came to the Bersa.

And, cleaning it is a piece of cake compared to all my other guns. Just spray it down with CLP, run the brushes and patches down the bore, and start wiping and lubing.

I like my Bersa too, I have about 2 years or so I guess...the only issue I have had is the grip screws will loosen up on me after about 50 rounds or so...but I hear there is some blue stuff (loctite??) that should cure that problem. Happy shooting!!

I noticed the left grip panel coming loose during my first range session also. Yes, the blue loctite will solve the problem without making the screws too difficult to remove. Had to do the same thing on my RAMI. But for you, how easy is it to get loctite where you are assigned, if I read your sig correctly? If you are in sandland, thanks for your sacrifice. We all appreciate it back home.

My experience with the same pistol has been very good. Thanks for your report.

I concur. Good choice on your Bersa Thunder 380. I love mine. It was the first pistol I ever purchased. You may want to try Corbon 90 gr JHP's. They feed real well and have a nice kick to boot.

Love my Bersa Thunder 380. and my new Bersa .380 Concealed Carry.

If I could change one thing on the CC, it would be the sites. I know they were trimmed down for concealment purposes but they could use some love.
