I have just bought my first Spyderco knife...I bougth the Police model with Stainless Steel scales....I was wandering will it loosen up with time...I had been carring a Gerber Applegate Covert that was really fast to open (I loosened the pivot screw)....but the Spyderco does not have a adjustable screw and it is really stiff...Is there a to loosen it or will it just loosen with time.

It should loosen up with use, mine did.
You bought a good knife. One of the neat tricks you can do with it is a kinetic opening from the draw. Just grip the knife firmly between your first two fingers and thumb while it is clipped to your pocket. Then bring it up out of your pocket with you wrist slightly loose to give it a snap at the end of the motion, this should be about even with your shoulder. It looks sort of like a fast draw from a western holster.
With a little practice you can go from have your thumb nonchalantly hooked in your pocket to having 4 inches of sharp steel in your hand in position ready to strike in literally the blink of an eye.

True, but it is kinda hard to do with the poliice model compared to the delica, or endura. Just lube and use the heck out of your Police model and it will either loosen up a bit, or you will get used to it being stiffer.
