OK Remington’s site they have 3 "new" autos.

The first is the SPR453, which "handles everything from 2 3/4" field loads to 31/2 magnum rounds." Looks very nice, if it works like they say it could be a very good gun for all-round hunting.

The next is the 1050CTi which is there 'reduced recoil auto.' It has "up to 48% less recoil that the competition", kind of make you wonder what there competition is. Personally I would love to shoot this thing against the Beretta extrma 2.

The last is a tactical 1100, which is offered in 18 and 22 in barrels.

The Remington 105CTi will be at least equal, from what I could tell. I've shot a few rounds through one. And the Remington weighs nearly a pound less. It also has the nifty first round auto-load feature of an old Auto-5. A wonderful gun, from what I could tell. It hit the first clay I pointed it at, and dumped the hull neatly in front of my feet.

What I don't know is how many rounds it will go between cleanings, etc., because no one outside Remington has shot one thousands of times yet. But the gas system was an improvement on the 1100/11-87 system, with no rubber O-rings in it, so there's no reason to believe it will be be any less than the 1100's equal when it comes to the gas system.

I know y'all love your Berettas. They're nice guns. But there are a few companies who can also make a nice autoloader, and Remington is one of them.

7 lb. It actually feels like a 20 Gauge when you mount it, with a little more barrel when you swing it. Easy shooting.

People really like their Baikals; the autoloaders are supposed to be tank-like, too. I've never shot a Baikal autoloader. Overweight for carrying in the field, but no more so than some other low-end guns.

The tactical 1100 looks nice. I've handled it but not shot it. I know what an 1100 feels like, so I grabbed the 105 off the rack instead.:D
