Hola!

In my "work" mode, I pointed out to another of the editors on Slashdot a story which he posted to the front page, and that many folks here might find ... interesting. The jist of the (low-substance) story is that a patent's been filed -- which by itself means just about nothing -- on a type of gun-keyed and encrypted ammo, where matching codes must be sent before the cartridge can be used as intended.

The lesson: some people get *paid* for their fascinating, illogical dreams, while the rest of us just get to enjoy them for free :)

EDIT: I see (oops!) that the same article's on the page already, at least linked through the Boing Boing article on fetishwear. Check out the earlier linked one on BB with jeans with pockets designed for "conceal carry" [sic]. I'd like to get a pair of those -- look like a smart design.
