Nice, especially with the Mel poster in the background.

For those who don't know, the grecian helmets were bronze, not iron.

true, but the one steel was 80 bucks and bronze was gonna set me back 250 bucks

wait till i "skunk it up" and cover it in tactical carbon fiber!

or i might faux bronze it

$80 bucks for steel and $250 for bronze? Well, I'd go the steel route too. Almost took an art class in college. Was thinking of making a helmet like that and some spear points. Bring in a bunch of old pennies for your copper and some tin (from cans) and voila! Bronze. That helmet would be good for a mold for a project like that. Difficulty would be a continuous pour of such a large object with small equipment. I suppose the real helmets started as sheets, were annealed and then hammered into shape.

2nd photo is nice too. With your beard that is correct for the Greeks. BTW, the Lacadaemonians/Spartiates/Spartans wore their hair long.

I'm drooling, man... Too bad LSW will NEVER countenance such a purchase. ("And where would we put it, dear?" "Well, we could get rid of some Pocket Drago... OUCH!")

wait till i "skunk it up" and cover it in tactical carbon fiber! :what: Pausanias will Come Back To Get You...

SGT I'm picturing you wearing this to pick up a blind date Yeah, but he has to wear the rest of the proper attire for Spartans on the era going into combat... :neener:
