Well Guys I'm back again to Rack your Brains on something else I can't decide on. ( you've always been able to help) So here Goes......... I'm about to purchase a new .45 and I'm torn between Three different pistols. The ColtĀ® Defender, the Smith and Wesson Tactical 45, and finally the Springfeild Arms Ultra Compact 45. All are Superb looking firearms. They all appear to have the relatively the same features, except the S&W I beleive has 1 more Rnd capacity than the others. This will be my Primary Carry firearm . Which Would you guys choose if facing My choice, and Why???
Thank you again as usual in advance for your help!

SW is DA/sa. the other two are SA only. Both the Defender and the SA have some nice features, but the SA comes with better sights.
Dont know much about the SW

3" 1911s can be VERY picky and moody when it comes to reliability.
I liked almost everything about my defender except I could not get it reliable enough for me.
Whichever you get - go the extra mile to break it in, maintain it and proof it with 200 (I would say 400) rounds of whatever you are going to use. BTW, do this AFTER you get 1000-2000 rounds through the gun.
