So my wife is cleaning our shotguns from the last three gun match and getting a bunch of lead coming off in chunks/sheets. The only thing I can think of is the Wolf slugs we've been using. I never had slugs do this before, most of the lead seems to be in the 8 inches above the chamber then its clean. Is this the norm for wolf slugs?

I don't know, I haven't ever shot any of the Wolf slugs.
Rifled slugs do tend to 'skid' in the first few inches of the bore and do seem to smear lead there sometimes, I would imagine softer lead slugs would be worse than hard- alloy lead about that. Sometimes you get a bad buildup of plastic fouling from plastic wads in that area too, especially if you're shooting a hot gun, and that could make things worse.
