Hello all,

I have seen guys using bolt action rifles built on an AR platform in open class high power. Without going into a full blown engineering description, how is this done, the manual bolt action conversion? Do they knock out the gas system? Do they then weld on a bolt handel and notch the receiver? Not wanting to do this, just curious. Or if easier, is there a book that describes this type of a conversion?

Could this be the rifle you saw? If so, the conversion is easy, all it takes is $$$$$:D

Yep, the Tubb 2000 Competition Model looks like the one. Just want to know how they do the reciever/bolt assembly.
