RSRH .44 mag cutting my finger?

My RSRH always cuts into my right index finger (I'm right handed) when I shoot. It's gotta be the trigger itself that's doing the cutting. After about 20 straight rounds I will be bleeding pretty good.

Anyone else have this problem?

Fixes? New grips? File the trigger? Wear gloves? Man up (blood is gooooood)???

Thanks.

I have had that problem for over 20 years. My solution on 2 Redhawks and a Super Redhawk is to remove the trigger and put a radius on the upper portion of the trigger that is exposed when the trigger is to the rear.
First you have to take it apart. The manual should be a great help. Then feel the upper right side of the trigger. When you feel that sharp edge, you will know that is where you want to polish/smooth/radius the trigger.

Grizz,

It's not just you. I had a GP100 that did that to me when shooting magnums in it. I agree with Tom C., just radius that edge on the top part of the trigger. It'll help alot and won't change the operation of the trigger.
