Does anyone know a source for a built-up and checkered bolt stop for a Winchester Model 70? These boltstops project away from the action's centerline an extra .250" and so require some inletting of the stock.

Results in what looks like a very small revolver hammer spur to the left of the upper tang. Helps my fat thumb.

GreyMauser,

Have never heard of such a thing. If your thumb is anywhere's near the bolt stop on a Winchester Model 70, you have a stock that doesn't fit you properly.
