I have the Handi-Rifle, but a lever gun in this caliber would be awesome. Does anyone make one?

I thought WWG did at one point, or maybe they were going to, but nothing on their page indicates that they do.

Give it some time - the .500 S&W is about perfect for a levergun.

.454 Casull and .480 Ruger, but no .500 S&W here:

A lot cheaper than the Wild West gun, though.

about $1500 for non take-down and $2000 for take-down

Holy cow! WWG is not giving them away, are they? Maybe I'll just make one myself!

I have a dumb question ArmedBear. Is the 92 type action really strong enough for those hot rounds or am I just being paranoid?

Crosshair,

The 92 action is extremely strong. They're basically a scaled down in size Winchester model 71, which was chambered for the very high pressure .348 cartridge. With today's modern heat treatments to steel it's even stronger. Of course 62,000+ PSI is a lot for any action.
