Well… I hope you are all happy now!

Yeah you! All of you! I was a nice blissfully unaware person only a few days ago. Then SOMEONE had to open a thread about trunk guns and start talking about SKS’s. I’d never even given the gun a second look.
Well now after all that talk, I started to look. I started to ask questions. I got very intrigued.
Now I went and bought a gun that less than a week ago I knew nothing about. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! You made me want a new gun.
You guys just can’t go around using your influence like this. Take a little while to think of the consequences. Please.
I’m banishing myself from the forum for… about 8 hours until I have to start work in the morning. I’ll be back then to see if you’ve all learned your lesson.

I assure you that none have learned that lesson, it is counter-productive to the proliferation of this forum.
Since you have spent money on that particular firearm, I would like to introduce you to the much cheaper and cheaper to shoot Mosin-Nagant.
Get a nice one their only 125 bucks anyhow....Finnish 91/30 at aimsurplus.com look really nice especially the ones with the laminate wood stocks. Really fun and built like a brick S-House.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA. You're sunk now. Buy a bigger safe.

ps
If you don't know now, you also REALLY want an M1 Garand. Just sayin'....

I know, I got an SKS, and there are no excuses anymore. No more, "I can't afford ammo", no "I don't feel like getting beat up by my .270 today", no I would go out to the desert and find a coyote to zap, but I don't feel like beating up one of my pretty guns today".
I just go.

Must send guns to Brian...

Hey... you almost had me!
Seriously, though, Arthur, get a C&R. The discounts pay for themselves, and it's kinda nice to go out shooting pieces of history (that aren't too expensive, to boot). Only one side effect: Milsurpitis is a disease for which there is no cure.
Expect ostracism from society, disapproving looks from the wife, and general head shaking from everybody else. Fortunately, you can meet the support group down at the range.

I can only assume that you are a member of this forum because A: You are a fan of guns in general. B: You are an owner of a gun or many guns and C: You are interested in acquiring other guns on the advice of others on this site. It is because of these three reasons I have concluded that I am well within my rights as a member to recommend yet another rifle to you. Now that you have a mil surp, I can assume you already have a handgun, you probably already have a long gun for one reason or another but now you need : A good ole scary black gun!!! You know, the kind they don't like out in CA? I would highly recommend an FAL or AR....both excellent performers at the range and a heck of a lot of fun to shoot.
SCARY BLACK GUN! No collection is complete without it.

You know you are all VERY EVIL individuals, don’t you?
Let’s hit the Highlights.
Mosin’s are great. And old friend of mine had a couple and some French Lebels circa WW1.
1911, M1 Carbine (I love Carbines), and M1 (in that order) are on the list. I am and American after all!
Not sure about the K31. I will look at it. D**N! There you people go again!
C&R may have to happen at some point if this keeps up.
I keep going back and forth on the FAL. But an Evil Black Rifle of some type is on the list. Maybe 2.
OOPS… never realized my info didn’t have my City. No real secret as much as I’ve bad mouthed her. Scan Left.
Mausers… they are nice… don’t know a whole lot about them. Will have to… NO!!! NOT AGAIN!!!
And Finally. Yes. Those are junk Brian. OK. Expect an S&W 686 4” in the mail any day. Hold that breath now.

I originally posted this in the General section because I wanted it to be a stinging indictment of all THR’ers who, in the past few weeks, have had me looking at carbide cannons, evil looking meat tenderizers on shotgun barrels, and new murses. Just to name a few things
But since it seems I only acted on anything after the prompting of those here in Rifle Country, I have to assume you are the worst of the lot. I guess the Mods moved this out of the general discussion so as not to alarm the others.
Currio(?) and Relics. My tender tuchis. More like “Cult and Relics.” You must sit there trolling the forum, looking for ways to get people ensnared into your evil organization.
I’m on to you! I’m not gonna fall for it.
Now if you will excuse me, I have an SKS I have to take down and clean. Need more stripper clips. When’s the next gun show? Some much work to do. Must go now. *twitch twitch*

I see you're addicted. In that case, you're going to need a place to go dedicated to satisfying your cravings:

And resist the urge to Bubbatize, you will regret it.

You are all BAD BAD MEN
except for those of us who are women!:D
Seriously, two years ago I didn't own a single rifle.
Now I'd be embarrassed to say how many I have accumulated.
Pick up a nice mauser, and a Garand.
OOOOOHHH and a swiss, while they are still around...
Soon you will be ours:evil:
