Has anybody had any experience with the light holders that attach to one of the shell loops on a sidesaddle? It would seem that the light would be to far away from the bore axis and the mount does not seem solid. Just wondering if anyone has any hands-on with these things.

No personal experience but they always looked a little... odd.
The part that fits into the shell holder is round right? So what keeps it from rotating under recoil?

I bit the bullet and popped for the SureFire forend for my Benelli.
