Would anyone have match, flint, cap or wheel lock firearms for me to photograph in or around Nashville?

It could be, though I usually just provide prints of the items to the owners. Depending on the travel involved, I can defray some costs.

If you'd like to come up to Nashville, I'll cover gas and lunch...and you'd get photos. It would have to be later this summer or early in the Fall, on a Sunday or Monday-Wednesday morning/day.

Was the the one with a whole bunch of C&R and SOP folks who have cannon or something else?

Consider contacting the Tennessee State Museum in Nashville. I'm sure they'll appreciate some free photos for their curatorial files.

I did a shoot int heir modern section. They let me bring lights in. The recessed glass cases made good results impossible. The modern branch might be better.

Come out to Tucson sometime, Oleg. No cost, and I'll burn the meat, er, barbeque.

Oleg: ask the Museum for a list of their collection and if it's not on display or loaned out, offer to take new curatorial photos. Most museums only have about 5% of their collection exhibited.

Oleg / There`s a big primitive shoot at Lawrenceburg ,TN. Aug the 11th ,12th and 13th .. at David Crockett Park ..me and the wife will be there along with 2 or 3 hundred other buckskinners with some mighty fine shootin irons .. you could get some very good pictures there every one will be in buckskinner dress and lots of primitive gunmakers and blacksmiths set up doing their trade .Shooting events will be on Friday and Sat.
