Hi all,

I recently committed an "Act of Stupidity" on my SIG SHR 970. I was sick as I've got access to a farmer with a pig problem and this is one of my favorite rifles. The fact that it's also capable of shooting under 1/2" at a hundred yards when I do my part only made it worse for me. I just knew I'd messed it up beyond repair. Knowing that they are no longer made or imported only compounded my feelings.

Not mine, but same rifle.

Anyway in the course of trying to fix my problem I only made it worse.

A quick call to SIG, an explanation of what I did and how I did it and they said send it in, we will look at it. I was fully aware that what I did was my own darned fault and that I would stand all the costs.

Well, the rifle showed up the other day fully repaired. It was in their facility for less than two days.

And the best part, no charge!

Big time thanks to those folks at SIG!
