Hi all,

I just got my first lever gun. I've shot them before and liked them.

This used one seemed about 99%, excellent bluing, checkering, a small grove on the stock which was filled in with wood filler apparently.

Bought it for $200 out the door at a pawn shop!

I noticed the trigger "wiggles" or seems loose. Is this normal or should it be tight?

Haha! A year or so ago (when I got my first Marlin), I almost had a heart attack.

I brought my new shiny home, dry fired it a few times and noticed the wiggle after dis/reassembling the rifle. Within 3.2 seconds I had the Marlin customer service number dialed. 15 minutes later, a CSR assured a panicky new Marlin owner that the wiggle was normal and expected.

I suggested that they mention something to that effect in the manual. Somehow I don't think they took me seriously. :neener:
