just drooled over a MARLIN 2000. blue stock w/adjustable spacers, free floating heavy barrel, williams peep sights w/front globe. is this just a kids starter rifle??? or is it something on the line of serious biathalon/small bore
piece. dealer said it was no longer made and wanted $300 for it. i saw one
on gunsamerica for $550! let me know because i don't have a clue about this one..............

It is a starter rifle by competition standards; but for $300.00, I'd probably buy it if I wanted that type of rifle. Then again, I'll freely admit I'm not the brightest person around.

If you just want a .22, for $300.00 you can get a CZ 452 and never look back.
