Earlier I had posted that I had picked up a new (to me) Kimber Raptor. Having just moved to OK, I was on dial-up and it made posting pics a royal pain. Now that I'm in my permanent digs and back on DSL, here's a couple of pics of the pistol. I've got a little over 600 rounds through it at this point. Initially, it had a small problem with pre-mature slide lock from the nose of the round nudging the slide stop. A little judicous filing and hand polishing took care of that problem. Runs like a top now.

Haha! Dig that tiny bottle of tabasco sauce in the trigger guard. Interesting twist on the ol' prop-it-up-with-a-shotgun-shell bit.

Oh, right, nice pistol, too. :D

Typical Tech graduate/supporter comment.:D I've got a basket of 'em leftover from numerous deployments and exercises. I was looking for a prop this morning and the hot sauce was the first thing handy. Truthfully, I haven't actually bought a bottle of I.L. McIlhenny's in years. Thanks for the compliments on the gun.
