Who's Been Denied CCW In California?!?

This is it, guys. Who's been denied, on paper? I'm compiling a final pre-lawsuit list. Checking it twice...'cuz I *know* which jackarse sheriffs and chiefs have been "naughty" as all hell :).
$15k in legal expenses has been pledged so far. We're going to do multiple county/town defendants at once, so anybody in the state can join in the fun.
Drop me a line, pass this along, this is the big one :).

Cosmo7: I'll PM you in a few minutes. If you're who I think you are, don't say anything more in the public threads.

Jim, call me a sheep, but I just don't see the merit in even APPLYING here smack dab in the middle of the rose-colored-glasses wearing, liberal utopia of Palo Alto.
Should I still apply? And if I do, what 'cause' should I give? I understand that telling them "Because it's my constitutional right" doesn't really go far in these parts.
If you think its worthwhile, I'll apply.

I've never applied. I live in Contra Costa county, and it seems like a waste of time and money, with Sheriff Rupf running the show. Should I give it a try? I'm sure I'll be denied. I'm not a contributor to the sheriff's political campaign.
I got a solicitation in the mail a few weeks ago to become a member of the California Sheriff's Association. It was signed by none other than Rupt. What a crock. I'm still contemplating sending back the invitation with a note saying I'll join up when all of the sheriffs in California start supporting my 2nd amendment rights.

Redhead: I'll PM you in a bit.
Sven: Palo Alto is Santa Clara County, right? We have that one covered.
ALL: if you get denied, you have the ability ("standing") to sue. THAT is why you apply, even when it's "impossible" to score.

I don't hold any hopes of being approved but I will go ahead and start the process and will keep you informed Jim...

I open-carried today throughout Northern Virginia. Didn't ask permission. 'Course, I have to ask permission to carry concealed.
God bless, Mr. March.
