I recently picked up on auction a Ruger SP101 in 32 H&R Mag & had it out to the range for the first time today. Extrmeley accurate with both 90gr JHP from Bullseye and 95gr JHP from Georgia Arms. The problem comes when ejecting spent rounds. It's almost like firing steel rather than brass cases. It takes a good whack on the ejector rod to get the rounds out. When I was cleaning it I tried a fired case in each chamber. In one chamber even when a could get the case all the way in (& it was very tight) I could not eject it using the ejector rod. Is there any (easy) way I can remedy the probem or should I have a gunsmith or Ruger take care of it.

I gather you're firing commercial reloads. Try new ammo with virgin brass and see if it makes a difference. Also make sure the revolver is thoroughly clean.

Would something like Militec help?
