Sorry, I can't help, but if you can post a picture of the pistol fully assembled, somebody on here should be able to ID it. Is it designed as a full auto, or is it damaged somehow? If it's full auto, that should narrow it down...a lot.

I seem to recall that there were double stacked Chinese Tokarevs back before the ban, but they were 9mm. Are you outside the United States? Perhaps they made other versions that never made it here. I note the caliber is stated as 30 Mauser. Odd designation, but it and the Tokarev round do largely interchange. I would find a double stacked Tokarev in that caliber interesting to say the least.

I don't know much about Tok history, but I'd tend to guess it is Chinese. You also want to un-full auto it pronto unless it came with papers and a $200 stamp.

Looks like the pistol grip is slotted for a detachable stock. I am assuming that the owner is not resident in the USA.

Thanks for your replies and you have guessed it right that i am not a citizen of the US. I have this gun for some time and i did not use it because it does not fire in semi automatic mode it always fires in full auto. there are two magazines for it one is for semi auto and the other is for full auto(as you can see in the pictures that one magazine has a hole and the other does not have one). I dont know how to fix this

if it ALWAYS fires full-auto for me it is sign of its sear being damaged so it does not engages hammer once slide goes forward. You have to use gunsmith service to inspect the hammer & sear unit and repair it.

This is a very odd tokarev pistol. I think it's worth getting the hammer assembly looked at or replaced because it's so easy to do. As you can see it's a seperate assembly. Try www.marstar.ca, www.sksman.com, or www.e-gunparts.com. It should definately not always fire in full auto. The only tokarev pistol I've seen with a double stack magazine is the Norinco 213A (I think), but it is chambered for the 9mm para. I think it's very odd that it's marked .30 mauser. The 7.62 tokarev round is basically a hopped up version of the .30 mauser. Some people say you can shoot the .30 mauser in a 7.62 tokarev but not to try shooting a 7.62 tokarev in a .30 mauser (broomhandle for example) because it might not be able to take the extra pressure. I think it's a cool pistol you have and I would definately keep it. You could easily convert it to a 9mm para if you wanted to. I've seen new 9mm barrels with link and pin for $35. Many say the 9mm will work in the 7.62 magazine. Nice pistol!

I agree, very nice pistol. I have always thought a double-stacked gun in 7.63 would be neat. Looks like someone at Norinco agreed.

Thanks for all the info
I have this pistol for quite some time and i really did not care about it until one of my uncle who is a gun collector told me (and scolded me for little bit of rust :( )its real value. I always thought that it was some cheap handmade pistol(common in my part of the world). Then i started to research it on the internet but was unable to find any info on it. One thing i want to clarify is that this gun is designed for full auto (according to the person who sold it) and was brand new when i bought it(i didnot know much about guns at that time), still it has only a few rounds through. the thing that is troubling me is that one of the magazines is for semi auto mode and the other is for full auto mode. when i insert the semi auto mag the gun refuses to fire(the trigger doesnot depress fully while the full auto mag it empties the magazine in seconds. I bought this pistol for self defense but did not use it for this purpose due to the full auto property of this gun. Now i am considering to buy a makarov instead.
Thanks again for sharing your veiws
Bye

For self-defense definitely get a Makarov, but keep the Tokarev.
