Great looking pistolas:evil: who did the job I am thinking of getting my usp done when it gets here?

WOW.

I'm sold. I'm doing that to my P99 ASAP (Sorry, gotta copy-cat you!)

Looks fantastic!

I haven't checked, but I'm sure this is already posted on Waltherforums.com, righto? :)

Also, is it possible to get some pictures of the other side of the slide where the proofs and serial numbers are? I'd love to see how the hard-chrome affects those bits.

I'll try to take some more pics later - but I will say that they get covered. On this one, if you tilt it towards the light and look at it at just the right angle, U can barely make out the serial #. But, the proofs are not visible.

On my compact, I can barely see the proof, but not really the serial #.

U still get the serial # on the barrel and frame, though - and it only has to be on the frame.

So, be aware that this goes away...

Who did you get to do the work, and do they do any handgun slide.

Yea, that's the only problem I forsee. For some odd reason I really enjoy the proof markings on the slide :) But the hard-chroming just looks too good to pass up. Not to mention the protection it'll afford the slide.

Newton - I had Tripp research do it - and yes, anything metal can be chromed as long as it's not an alloy (aluminum - like an alluminum frame).

Thanks - their work looks good. I may have a few projects of my own.
