Anybody have access to serial no./dates for FN hi-powers ? Negotiating for a FN hi-power #55xxx and am curious about year made. Any help appreciated

Thanks for the response but the page cited is for Browning Arms Co imports and the numbers start at 70000. The pistol in question is an FN labeled product and in the high 55000's. I haven't been able to find anything on the net. I'm hoping a serious FN collector will have the appropriate book and help me out. If not it's no biggie. The piece is in great shape and I'm probably going to buy it anyway. Thankes again for trying to help
