to love Revolvers.
In all variations.
I love Modells, no, not the real pistols, just modells,
of every ever build pistol.
But i now start to collect them.
Im just interested, if someone else shares my feeling.
If it is like that, we can perhaps share pics of our modells and talk about some interestening facts, or perhaps we can visit each other and go to big meetings, were fans from all over the globe try to share their feelings.
Would be very glad, if someone would write to:

Many of us have been doing this for decades so welcome to the group. Just keep reading here and you should find enough pictures to keep you satisfied. Then branch out to other forums and really get amazed.

What those, old fashion, obsolescent, useless, relics? Who would want one of those. :scrutiny:

Many members here love revolvers; ME for one. I grew up on the "wheel
gun", and I may die by it (:() ; but at least I know I will go down fight'in.
Seriously, if you took a pencil and a pad and noted my current inventory;
it probably is pretty evenly divided between revolvers and self loaders.
Heck, I like 'em all, and have a use for 'em all; called "tools of the trade".

BTW, my last two purchases were revolvers. One was a 99%+ 2" barrel
'72 Colt Agent, and the other was a Ruger Blackhawk 50th Anniversary
Edition .357 magnum flat-top. The Ruger will be a shooter, the Colt
will be a "safe queen".

The original poster is not in the United States of America.
I believe that is a German email address.

Sadly most of the world cannot simply own a nice collection of real handguns.
Some countries even outlaw AirSoft and "non-firing zinc replicas'.
So they build and collect plastic kits.
There has long been companies that produce lifesize plastic KITS of firearms just like the automobile and hot rod kits I put together as a youngster.

I recall seeing pistol "kits" at my local Super-X Drugstore. I remember seeing a "Man From U.N.C.L.E." P-38K, A "James Bond" PPK, a Luger and a 1911.

Since there was a real 1911 and a P-38 at home and my Dad's Sauer 38-H was close enough to a PPK, I paid no attention to those kits.
At that age I was much more interested is building accurate models of The Munster Mobile, Dragula, The Red Baron, The Tarantula, The Paddy Wagon and all of those other really groovy hot rods I saw at the yearly Carl Casper Custom Auto Show at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center.
Although the Playboy models at the show that gave out autographed photos were beginning to occupy more of my attention.

My interests soon changed to 1/72 scale model tanks and armored cars.

Hey, after putting one of those tank kits together fitting a 1911 is a piece of cake.

All of those car kits are long gone but I still consider the 1960s and 1970s playmates to be among the best looking ever. ;)
