I just won an auction for a Star model B 9mm pistol (the C&R one).

I have some questions. Do mags interchange with the Star Super B? What other models use the same mags? Are there any after market mags for it?

Who makes after market grips for it? Can 1911 grips be modified to fit?

Lotsa questions. I don't believe there are any aftermarket mags for them, but there are still some original mags available. I also don't believe any other models interchange. I'll put some links at the end.

Numrich has some smooth grips available, which I purchased, but I had to modify them a bit to get them to fit. There's a company called Vintage Grips that I believe also makes them. They used to have a web site but apparently no longer.

Hello. Star B and Super B magazines will interchange. 1911 grips won't work with the Star pistols. Holes are in the wrong place and the 1911 has the bushings extended upward from the frame while the Star pistols do not.

The Star B mags that SOG is selling for $9.95, "will not" work in my Star Super B pistol.
